Repair Café Blixembosch
Repair Cafés are free-to-attend gatherings that revolve around repairing (together). At the location where the Repair Café is held, tools and materials are available to carry out all kinds of repairs. The Repair Café Blixembosch is located in the VTA Blixems. They repair many electrical appliances, but they also usually know how to handle most repair jobs involving furniture, toys and garden tools. Their sewing section can solve most common problems with textiles and some of their techies are expert at troubleshooting computers, tablets and phones, as well as devices that have a lens in them such as photo, film, and video cameras and projectors.
Good to know: Repairs are carried out as much as possible by the visitors themselves, if necessary with help from the repair experts present. The use of new materials such as cords, plugs, fuses, ready-made knee pieces or applications requires separate payment. In addition, they always appreciate a voluntary contribution.
Regular opening hours:
1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
In case a month has 5 Thursdays, they are
closed on the 5th Thursday.
During school holidays and on public holidays, the Repair Café is closed
